HR Staffing LLC is Hiring a Medical Billing and Coding Instructor Near Phoenix, AZ
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Medical Billing/Coding Instructor to join our team and contribute to our students' success.
As a Medical Billing/Coding Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver effective and engaging instruction, ensuring that students gain the knowledge and practical skills necessary to pursue a successful career in medical billing and coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and course materials that align with industry standards.
- Facilitate engaging classroom sessions that cater to a diverse student body, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to learn and excel.
- Provide one-on-one assistance and support to students as needed.
- Evaluate and grade assignments and examinations promptly, providing constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Stay current with industry trends and changes in medical billing and coding regulations to ensure that the curriculum remains up to date.
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to enhance and improve course content.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering student engagement and success.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of medical billing and coding.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and other coding systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- Teaching or training experience is a plus.
